“The ultimate protection against research error and bias is supposed to come from the way scientists constantly re-test each other’s results.” To what extent would you agree with this claim in the natural sciences and the human sciences?

Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. Science has answers to every question with proof and hence we follow it. But the theories made were not made by one scientist but generated with the help of several scientists, rechecked, verified, corrected if possible and finally put in front of us to understand it in a better way. We humans since childhood have a habit of comparing things from each other, and what we lack and others have we immediately try start achieving it and go even ahead of the person who inspired us to become like him/her. We are also not convinced easily, so automatically we proceed to recheck our Knowledge and start questioning on our believes. Theories are made and then they are corrected and remade. So in-spite of this fact why do we so easily accept the current theories? To what extent is the knowledge that we have gained today true and how much is it reliable to except the theories that we follow today? Well the reason why we blindly follow is the fact that the scientists constantly re-test each other’s results. Most of the theories are refined like the water in the river and are shaped like round pebbles in the river. That is the reason why there is continuous research going on for the new theories to be formed, if find out the unfound and to reform the formed.
